BMW ActiveHybrid X6 is currently the most powerful hybrid available on the European market. And although it has almost 500 hp is not so far from the "eco" concept as it seems at first glance. On a route of about 400 km the average consumption of the onboard computer display was 12.9 litres/100 km.
X6 is different. ActiveHybrid X6 is not intended to be an alternative to any diesel engines in the range. Nor would it be like, given a starting price of 103,500 euros. BMW X6 Hybrid is an alternative to the X6 M - if you look at the price - version M costs by about 6,000 euros more, 70 extra horsepower and but a much greater consumption.
BMW X6 ActiveHybrid is really a "full-hybrid". It can run in electric mode more than 2.5 km and a speed of up to 60 km / h. For example, in residential neighborhoods, it can run in electric mode only, without in any way affecting air quality.
The propulsion system consists of a V8 bi-turbo petrol engine which develops 407 hp and 600 Nm of torque and two electric motors of 86 or 91 hp. BMW X6 Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.6 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 236 km / h or 250 km / h if equipped with sport package.
At first glance X6 seems one of the most impressive cars on the market, but it is only about 4.9 meters long and 2 meters wide.
X6 ActiveHybrid is probably one of the most spectacular cars that can be purchased on European market. It has a price of a "supercar" but provides both performance and the opportunity to have a car capable of running versatile in all conditions.
