Skoda Karoq is Yeti's successor and the model in which the Czech producer has put a lot of hope in achieving sales targets in the upcoming years. The new name was chosen in accordance with the brand's SUV's nomenclature. Thus, the new models in this segment will have all the names starting with the letter K and ending with Q.
Skoda Karoq measures 4,382 millimeters in length, 1,841 millimeters in width and has a height of 1,605 millimeters. The wheelbase also reaches 2,638 millimeters (2.630 in the all-wheel drive version) and the trunk boasts 521 liters. By folding the rear bench, its volume increases to 1,630 liters.
Skoda Karoq uses, of course, the Volkswagen MQB platform, so the engines will be the well-known, direct-injection turbo. We are talking about two gasoline and three diesel units with capacities between 115 hp and 190 hp. We are talking about a 1.0 TSI 115 hp at the base of the range, which is complemented by the new 1.5 TSI 150 hp. All engines can be ordered with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed DSG.
