Volkswagen has revealed the new T-Cross, a comprehensive update for its popular compact SUV. The new model features a fresh design, more technology, improved safety, and lower emissions. It will be available in Europe in early 2024 and other markets later that year.
The 2024 Volkswagen T-Cross is based on the MQB platform, which allows for a spacious interior and a versatile luggage compartment. The new model has a length of 4.11 meters (13.5 feet) and a wheelbase of 2.56 meters (8.4 feet), making it ideal for urban driving and parking. The luggage compartment can hold up to 455 liters (16 cubic feet) of cargo and can be expanded to 1,281 liters (45.2 cubic feet) by folding the rear seats.
The exterior design of the 2024 Volkswagen T-Cross has been refined with new LED headlights and taillights, a redesigned front bumper and grille, and new alloy wheels. The new model also offers more personalization options, with 12 exterior colors, four roof colors, and four interior color packages to choose from.
The interior of the 2024 Volkswagen T-Cross has been upgraded with a new digital cockpit, a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless charging pad for smartphones. The new model also features a multifunction steering wheel, ambient lighting, heated seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
The 2024 Volkswagen T-Cross is equipped with a range of efficient engines that comply with the Euro 6d emission standard. The petrol engines include a 1.0-liter three-cylinder TSI with 95 or 110 horsepower and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder TSI with 150 horsepower. The diesel engine is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder TDI with 95 horsepower. All engines are paired with either a manual or an automatic transmission.
