The exterior features an extensive new exterior design that highlighting an entirely fresh visual aspect and includes a better restyling of a number of signature elements. The updated interior of the Jeep Cherokee have a fresh and fine touch while remaining a functional and cozy environment. The rear load capacity has increased by more than three inches in width and now totals more than 27.5 cubic meters, offering additional storage space to easily accommodate personal items.

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee offers the all-new 2.0-liter direct injection turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine which is rated at 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. The gearbox is a nine-speed automatic with torque converter. The other engines available in the Jeep Cherokee 2019 are a 2.4-liter PZEV Multiair2 Tigershark I-4 and the 3.2-liter Pentastar V-6.
The 2019 Jeep Cherokee highlights a selection of three advanced 4x4 systems (Jeep Active Drive I, Jeep Active Drive II, Jeep Active Drive Lock) that have been enhanced for matchless 4x4 capability for all weather conditions.
