The new Mini John Cooper Works GP has arrived. The two-seater sprints from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.2 seconds thanks to its 306 hp engine. It will be presented to the public at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which will open on November 22. Its production is strictly limited to 3000 copies, deliveries will begin in March 2020.

Its four-cylinder engine develops 75 hp more than in the Mini John Cooper Works. It offers a maximum torque of 450 Nm between 1750 and 4500 rpm. The power of 306 hp is available between 5000 and 6250 rpm. Finally, the maximum speed is 265 km / h.
An exhaust system specific to this model has been added to accentuate its sound. At low speed, it produces a moderate sound; at full load, the sound becomes more extreme. For this model to meet environmental standards, it is equipped with a special filter.
To increase its agility, the rigidity of the suspensions has been accentuated. Compared to the standard Mini JCW, the GP version is one centimeter lower.
As far as the braking system is concerned, the Mini John Cooper Works GP has four-piston front ends. Its disc is 360 x 30 mm. The JCW GP is equipped as standard with 18-inch light wheels. They weigh less than nine kilos each and are fitted with 225/35 R 18 high-performance tires.

The GP version is visually recognizable by its large spoiler, front bumper and flared wheel arches. The car is painted in 'Racing Gray Metallic', the roof and mirrors are painted 'Melting Silver Metallic'. Inside, we find two leather sport seats, red stitching and a GP badge on the headrests.
