Hyundai Motor America launched the new 2014 Hyundai Equus premium luxury sedan at the 2013 New York International Auto Show with improvements to exterior and interior design. Hyundai Equus is the number-one shopped premium luxury sedan.
2014 Hyundai Equus exterior improvements express a premium-sport design message, beginning with a new 19-inch turbine-blade alloy wheel design, front grille chrome bars, a redesigned front fascia, new LED fog lamps, redesigned side mirrors and tail lamp graphics.
The 2014 Equus is powered by a 5.0-liter Tau DOHC V8 engine which develops 429 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 376 lb.-ft. of torque at 5,000 rpm. The V8 engine has high-pressure direct injection system. The 5.0-liter Tau DOHC V8 engine is linked to a Hyundai-developed eight-speed transmission with SHIFTRONIC® manual shift capability for increased acceleration and better efficiency.
