Skoda has released the first images and information about the new Octavia RS. The official debut will take place at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Skoda prepared a two-litre petrol unit capable of delivering 220 horsepower. The sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.8 seconds and top speed stands at 248 km / h.
The second engine available on the Octavia RS will be a 2.0-liter diesel capable of delivering 184 horsepower. In the company of this unit Skoda Octavia RS accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 8.1 seconds and top speed reaches 232 km / h.
These engine can be fitted with a manual gearbox or DSG dual clutch transmission, each with six gears.
In the standard version, Skoda Octavia RS third-generation has Start-Stop and Brake Energy Regeneration. The Skoda Octavia RS will be available on European markets as of July.
