The 2014 Dodge SRT Viper TA (Time Attack) is built by the Chrysler Group's SRT team and professional road racers. Dodge SRT Viper TA is based on the SRT Viper model and it is specially made-up for the performance racing driver.
The tuned suspension on the Dodge SRT Viper TA is upgraded for on-track utilization. To maximize the performance SRT Viper TA is equipped with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires mounted on ultra-lightweight, multi-spoke Sidewinder II wheels and a Bilstein Damptronic suspension system.
Under the hood is a 8.4-liter mid-front V-10 overhead-valve engine made from aluminum which develops 640 horsepower and 600 lb.-ft. of torque.
The cabin of the Dodge SRT Viper TA uses Sabelt premium racing seats featuring a lightweight fiberglass shell for weight reduction and long-term durability. Car weight is an approximately 3,348 pounds.
The Dodge SRT Viper TA will be assembled at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit. Only 33 cars will be build.
