After a good few weeks of teasing, Seat puts the new Leon in front of the spotlight.
With a length of 4.36 meters, Leon is 86 mm longer than the previous generation, the wheelbase being also increased by 50 mm, which brings clear benefits in terms of interior space. For interior design, Seat has relied on simplicity, ergonomics and excellent integration of multimedia systems, with top connectivity. For the instrument panel was chosen a panel of 10.25 inches, while the multimedia system top has another screen, with a diagonal of 10 inches.

The new Leon is described as "the safest Seat ever produced", with the safety technology suite now comprising a semi-autonomous driving system. Unlike those seen in the Volkswagen Group, it can do something extra: change the band to a simple signaling activation.
In the chapter on petrol engines, Leon is offered in five versions: 1.0 TSI (90 or 110 hp), 1.5 TSI (130 or 150 hp) and 2.0 TSI (with 190 hp). The diesel engine range is based on the 2.0 TDI, offered with 115 hp or 150 hp (the latter can be equipped with DSG and 4Drive all-wheel drive).
The Plug-in Hybrid version is extremely interesting because it can travel up to 60 km in electric mode, thanks to 13 kWh batteries. The thermal engine has a displacement of 1.4 liters, the maximum combined power being 204 hp.

As the market demands more and more advanced connectivity solutions, Seat is proposing for Leon all that it has to offer in this segment. First of all, we need to note the existence of Apple Car Play connectivity through a wireless protocol, which few other machines offer.
Through an integrated eSIM, Leon is always connected online and can be controlled through an application on his mobile phone. This allows functions such as locating, closing and opening doors, lighting or horn activation, as well as additional functions for the plug-in hybrid version.
