The new Citroen C5 Aircross is off to a great start. The compact SUV has been upgraded in terms of design, comfort, and technology is now available for order. Prices begin at 31,700 euros for Citroen C5 Aircross PureTech 130 with a six-speed manual transmission (96 kW/131 hp).
The Citroen C5 Aircross looks bigger and more contemporary, introducing a new design language in which curves give way to more rigid lines. In addition, the new C5 Aircross is coated in black lacquer with a chrome surround and has a fresh rendition of the brand's logo.
The V-shaped LED signature of the daytime running lights in the style of piano keys is distinctive of the new Citroen design language, giving the headlights a contemporary 3D look and visually lengthening the black radiator grille. At the bottom border of the grille, a black painted bar emphasizes the logo and the V-shaped light signature: the double chevron pattern begins below the logo and extends parallel to the piano keys of the daytime running light signature over the whole width of the front. Below the grille, the two vertical side air intakes, which are now open and functioning, contribute to the grille's aerodynamic performance.
As with the front of the car, the 2022 Citroen C5 Aircross compact SUV features a new three-dimensional LED light signature in the rear, along with reworked tail lamps. In addition, the housing's design has been altered to increase aerodynamics. Without changing the size of the light unit, dark and textured glass has been added to accentuate the three LED light modules.
Along with the outward redesign, the Citroen C5 Aircross's inside has been updated to a more modern style, with noticeable improvements in comfort and technology.

The Citroen C5 Aircross compact SUV features a new 10-inch touchscreen display that seems to hover above the dashboard, enhancing ergonomics by allowing direct access to the temperature settings and increased readability. In addition, the air vents have been relocated beneath the screen and given a new horizontal appearance.
Additionally, the tall and imposing center console has been updated and visually cleaned up. On the hybrid version, the new compact gear selector switch replaces the previous huge gear selection lever, along with a switch for selecting the driving mode (electric, hybrid, or sport). In addition, the center console now has a new storage compartment and an additional USB port.
Additionally, various stylistic aspects emphasize the new C5 Aircross's beauty and modernity, including the new 18-inch aluminum "Pulsar" alloy wheels. Furthermore, the rearview mirror housings, standard on all models in gloss black and the roof bars, are now available in matte black. Eclipse Blue is a new body-color for the 2022 Citroen C5 Aircross. It is an intense and exquisite blue that shifts from dark blue to black depending on the light. The Citroen C5 Aircross compact SUV is also available in Polar White, Pearl White, Perla Nera Black, Steel Gray, and Platinium Gray. In addition, four new color schemes – glossy black, matt chrome, matt bronze, and energy blue – highlight the front air inlets and Airbump, highlighting the SUV's exquisite nature.
The Citroen C5 Aircross plugin hybrid has the same new generation of Citroen Advanced Comfort seats as the C4 and C5 X. With a core of high-density foam, a 15mm thick foam layer, and a unique structure, the seats provide the ultimate in visual comfort, seated comfort, and driving comfort. To further enhance driver and front passenger comfort, the front seats have a massaging function in addition to seat heating. Additionally, colors and materials have been updated; beginning with the "Shine" trim level, a new soft-touch Alcantara and a high-quality perforated leather alternative is available. Armrests and center console have been reupholstered in a new black leather effect fabric, while the dashboard has been reupholstered in a unique textured black leather effect insert.

The Citroen C5 Aircross plug-in hybrid is the first compact SUV in its category to provide three independently sliding, folding, and retractable rear seats for ultimate versatility. Additionally, the Advanced Comfort suspension, a trunk space ranging from 580 to 720 liters for the petrol/diesel version and 460 to 600 liters for the hybrid version, and a high level of acoustic comfort are noteworthy. Furthermore, up to 20 advanced support technologies are included on the new C5 Aircross, including Highway Driver Assist, which allows Level 2 autonomous driving, an emergency call-for-help system, and a reversing camera with Top Rear Vision.
