The Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid is the best-selling passenger car in Denmark in May. The best-selling car title is very familiar to the popular car, which is also the best-selling plug-in hybrid of the same period.
The latest figures for car sales in May show that the popular Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid can once again call itself the best-selling passenger car. 647 cars of the coveted plug-in hybrid were sold, and this is not the first time that the rechargeable hybrid can call itself the best-selling car. This summer, it was also the best-selling passenger car for three months in a row, and thus the latest figures confirm that there is still great interest in Ford's SUV.

The Kuga Plug-in Hybrid came to Denmark at the beginning of last year, and here it quickly received an overwhelming reception. Several motoring journalists were especially delighted about its combination of charming design, pleasant driving characteristics, professional hybrid system, a wide range of driver assistance technologies and not least the excellent price.
The demand for the Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid can be seen as an extension of peoples interest in rechargeable cars. Here, recent times have shown how peoples have opened their eyes to both plug-in hybrids and electric cars. Today, more than one in four new cars sold is a plug-in hybrid or an electric car, in Denmark.
And also among plug-in hybrids, the Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid stands out in particular. 3,524 new plug-in hybrids were registered in May, and here the Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid also occupies first place with 642 sold plug-in hybrids. The figures from De Danske Bilimportører show that there is a good distance down to the Toyota Rav4 with 278 plug-in hybrids sold.
And sales do not stop here. Ford has the same expectations for the Kuga Plug-in Hybrid in the remaining months of the year. In addition, Ford Denmark has also been allocated extra production at Ford's factories and can thus continue to supply Kuga Plug-in Hybrid to interested customers before the turn of the year.
