Under the hood, Opel Insignia GSI has a new 2.0-litre four-cylinder supercharged engine that delivers 230 hp (169 kilowatts) of power at 5,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 350 Nm between 1,500 and 4,000 rpm. In addition, FlexRide changes the characteristic of the accelerator pedal, as well as the gearshift points of the automatic transmission with nine gears. The driver can choose between Standard, Tour, Sport and - GSi - Competition modes.
The GSi version of Opel Insignia Sports Tourer has also benefited from an aerodynamic exterior kit with more aggressive shapes, a sports steering wheel, orthopaedic certified sports seats that are specially developed for this model (optional), traffic sign recognition, IntelliLux LED optical blocks, adaptive cruise control with emergency braking, multimedia system with Apple support CarPlay and Android Auto.
And let's not forget that this car offers a decent space for passengers and luggage. The luggage volume is 560 litres and with the seats folded up to 1,665 litres.
