Since its global launch in 2013, Peugeot 308 has obtained great success across Europe, among buyers but also among reporters and in international competitors. 43 global awards - with the prestigious Car of the Year title of 2014 as the main merit - have been awarded Peugeot's esteemed model. Now is the time for a new episode in the story of Peugeot's 308 success, now with a clear focus on digitalization.
Peugeot 308 continues to offer harmonious proportions in both five-door and SW versions, and the soft lines are further intensified by the new color "Vertigo Blue". But when the updated Peugeot 308 is now presented, the attention is directed towards the interior. At the same time, two new models of rims (Zircon, 16 inches, and Boca, 17 inches) are now available as an option.
The new Peugeot 308 is launched with the 100% digital Peugeot i-Cockpit and a 10-inch capacitive touch screen. These digital clusters are based on the latest generation technology found in the new Peugeot 208 and new Peugeot 2008 SUV, which enables the Mirror Screen feature, offers 3D navigation, and much more.
Peugeot 308 offers a wide range of driver assistance and safety systems such as Adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, Automatic Emergency Braking (detects pedestrians and cyclists both in daylight and in the dark from 5 km / h up to 140 km / h), Fatigue Warning, Traffic Sign reading, Visiopark with a 180-degree camera.
The new Peugeot 308 is presented with the latest Euro 6 petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engines are based on the 1.2 PureTech 3-cylinder unit (110 hp and 130 hp) and the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder unit (263 hp and 340 Nm, found on the 308 GTi). The diesel engines are based on the 1.5 BlueHDI engine with 110 hp and 130 hp.
