The XS's in-house tuners have taken the new Opel Astra plug-in hybrid for some fine-tuning. High-gloss white paint and black accents adorn the showpiece of the Opel Astra Plug-in Hybrid, which boasts a system output of 133 kW (180 hp) and 360 Nm of maximum torque.
The Pure Panel digital cockpit, adaptive Intelli-Lux LED pixel headlamps, and AGR-certified sports front seats are just a few examples of the cutting-edge technology in the Ultimate five-door. Work on the project began as part of a partnership with XS Carnight to bolster Opel's reputation as a quality, reasonably priced German tuner brand. At last year's tuning meeting at Lake Wörthersee, the newest generation of Opel Astra Plug-in Hybrid was unveiled to the public, and fans went wild.
The XS Carnight crew upgraded the Opel Astra Plug-in Hybrid with a GRINDS air suspension and height sensors from the "Carstyle Me" collection but kept the original shocks. American company RVNT Forged has provided the show-stopping 20-inch forged wheels, but they are only for display. The show car was adorned with racing stickers. Opel offers a sticker set for the sides and windshield of the Astra.
This year marks Opel's 160th anniversary, and in honor of this landmark occasion, XS Carnight and Opel have joined forces to present "20 Years of XSCN," an anniversary celebration featuring the show car Astra. The XS Carnight on Austria's Lake Wörthersee is where the next set of happenings will occur on September 17.
