According to Mitsubishi Motors, the new Mitsubishi ASX is finally ready for its debut. Following the outgoing ASX's footsteps, which sold nearly 380,000 vehicles across Europe, this model will place Mitsubishi squarely in the middle of the B-SUV class.
The new Mitsubishi ASX SUV is built on the CMF-B platform used by Renault, Nissan, Dacia, and Mitsubishi for their hybrid vehicles. This platform is suitable for a plug-in, mild, and full hybrids.
In Europe, the most popular vehicle types are SUVs and electric vehicles. Frank Krol, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Europe, believe the new ASX is ideal for the European market since it is an electric SUV with cutting-edge technology and entertainment features.
The new Mitsubishi ASX comes with Mitsubishi's signature three-diamond logo and the same unmistakable front end, which projects an image of strength and vitality.
The new Mitsubishi ASX plug-in hybrid has a sleek profile and a dynamic appearance from the side, thanks to the combination of comprehensive and high displays. Depending on your preference, the new ASX plug-in hybrid SUV may be outfitted with either 17-inch or 18-inch wheels, both of which contribute to the vehicle's strong presence.
Modern technologies and an advanced entertainment system give the new Mitsubishi ASX a sleek design, spacious interior, and flexible layout. Three hundred thirty-two liters of space are available in the trunk, with an additional 69 liters available when the floor is lowered.
Multiple convenience features contribute to the new Mitsubishi ASX's high level of interior ambiance, enhancing the driving experience and occupants' sense of contentment. During the colder months, the heated seats and steering wheel keep you cozy, while the state-of-the-art air conditioning system keeps you cool when the temperature rises.
The new Mitsubishi ASX's infotainment system is crucial to the vehicle's practicality and passenger convenience. The 7- to 10-inch (depending on the version) smartphone-like touch screen is positioned front and center, providing a convenient and adaptable interface for the driver. Your phone can sync quickly and easily with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
The new Mitsubishi ASX plug-in hybrid SUV comes with cutting-edge features, including a wireless key lock that senses when the driver approaches the vehicle to make driving and daily life easier. Many Active Safety features are available, including a collision warning system, lane keeping aid, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, a rearview camera, and much more.
The Multi-Sense system, among other things, gives the driver control over the steering response and the dynamic feel of the chassis. The Dynamic Chassis Control feature can analyze driving conditions and selectively apply brakes to individual wheels to improve control.
Numerous efficient and environmentally friendly engine options will be available for the new Mitsubishi ASX.
– Internal combustion engine: offered as a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with three cylinders.
– Mild hybrid: equipped with a 1.3-liter engine, turbo, and direct injection combined with a hybrid system.
– Full hybrid: combines a 1.6-liter petrol engine with two electric motors and an automatic gearbox.
– Plug-In Hybrid: 2 electric motors are combined with a 1.6-liter petrol engine and a battery that enables electric driving and charging.
