After 8 years, Dacia will present at the Paris Motor Show the third generation Sandero, which will receive a substantial technical upgrade. The new Dacia Sandero will make a leap in time and will move from the platform of the second generation Clio to the platform of the fifth generation.
Logan and Sandero will receive a substantial upgrade in the sense that they will move from the Clio II platform (1998-2005) used in the first two generations to the new CMF-B platform from the fifth-generation Clio which also supports hybrid propulsion and Plug-In Hybrid.
The engine range will consist of the new 1.0 three-cylinder gasoline with 73 hp and 100 hp indirect injection turbo which replaces the old 0.9 90 hp turbo.
It is not clear yet whether Dacia Sandero and Dacia Logan will be offered the 117 hp turbocharged version of the 117 hp direct injection that debuted on the new Nissan Juke. Dacia does not give up diesel and so the well-known 1.5-litre diesel with AdBlue will continue to be offered in versions of 75 and 95 hp.
