BMW introduced the first images and technical details of the new 8 Series Coupe, which will be available in November in two versions: the M850i xDrive Coupe and the 840d xDrive Coupe. The new model has a length of 4,843 mm, a width of 1,902 mm and a height of 1,341 mm, while the wheelbase reaches 2,822 mm. The lateral sides are characterized by fluid design lines, and light alloy wheels are 19 inches or 20 inches, depending on the version and package.
BMW has opted for a modern and minimalist interior that emphasizes the sporty side of driving. The standard luggage compartment capacity is 420 liters.

The BMW 8 Series Coupe will be available with two propulsion systems. The top version is the BMW M850i xDrive Coupe, equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 M Performance TwinPower Turbo engine that generates 530 horsepower. The maximum torque of 750 Nm is available between 1,800 - 4,600 rpm and the acceleration time to 100 km / h is 3.7 seconds. The second version is the BMW 840d xDrive Coupe, which uses a 6-cylinder diesel engine with 3.0-liter capacity that offers 320 horsepower and a maximum torque of 680 Nm, available from 1,750 rpm. In this case, the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h takes place in 4.9 seconds.
