Fiat launched the Fiat 124 Spider, which brings a genuine Fiat roadster on convertibles market. The model is developed in partnership with Mazda and the starting point is the Mazda MX-5 model. Fiat 124 Spider will begin to be sold in the summer of 2016.

Fiat 124 Spider is equipped with safety technology and assistance, as well as adaptive headlights and rearview camera, and a consistent infotainment package with a 7 inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, Enter'n Keyless Go system and BOSE premium audio system.
Fiat 124 Spider diesel engine will be offered with 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo (140 hp, 240 Nm), mated to a six-speed manual transmission. If the outside nothing reminds of Mazda MX-5, the interior has minor changes compared to the Japanese model.

The exteriors will be offered in one of the eight available colors: Rosso Passione, Gelato Bianco Nero Vesuvio, Grigio Argento, Fashion Grigio, magnetico Bronzo, Azzurro Italy and tri-layer Bianco Ghiaccio.
