The 2021 Ford Bronco returns with a familiar, spartan design

2021 Ford Bronco

The most awaited premiere in the Ford range this year is the great return of the Bronco.

The new Ford Bronco returns with a familiar, spartan design that inspires unlimited off-road capabilities. This time Bronco is available in several variants, including the more compact version Bronco Sport.

At the level of exterior design, Ford Bronco is inspired by its predecessors from the 1960s, with a spartan look. Even so, Bronco abounds with modern technologies, and LED optical blocks are included even in the early versions.

Like its predecessors, the Bronco offers multiple transformation possibilities. The doors and the ceiling can be detached without too much effort from the body, and the detachable elements have a dedicated place in the luggage compartment, so adventurers will have these body elements at hand if needed somewhere.

The Americans promise resistant surfaces for the harshest operating conditions, and these seem to be perfectly combined with the latest technologies, such as a semi-digital instrument panel with generous screen, but also a system standard 8-inch multimedia, or up to 12 inches for top versions.

Ford Bronco is based on the hard frame platform common to the Ranger pickup, with independent suspension on the front axle and a rigid axle on the rear. The 3-door variant promises a ground clearance of 213 mm, while the 5-door versions will have a 211 mm guard. For off-road adventures, the launch editions will include a special package with a set of mud tires, but also a fortified suspension.

Initially, the 2021 Ford Bronco suv will only be available with two petrol engines. The base unit is the 2.3-liter turbo EcoBoost 4-cylinder petrol engine, which develops 273 hp and 420 Nm. This engine mates to a 7-speed manual gearbox, or 10-speed automatic transmission. The other is the 2.7-liter EcoBoost series turbo V6 gasoline, which offers 314 hp and 542 Nm.

All versions have a permanent all-wheel-drive system. The Bronco can tow weights of up to 1.5 tons.

The Trail Toolbox technology package has assistants that make off-road adventures safer, Trail Turn Assist reduces the turning radius using torque differential vectoring, Trail One-Pedal Drive helps you be braver in climbing, and Trail Control is a low-speed autopilot for narrow paths and roads. At the same time, Bronco comes with seven different running modes - Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Sand, Baja, Mud / Ruts and Rock Crawl - to help you in all possible contexts.

Ford has launched preliminary orders for Bronco SUV - buyers can place an order for just $100 with subsequent payment of the car. Prices for the three-door Bronco start at $ 28,500, and deliveries will begin next spring.
