Ford Performance unveiled the new Mustang for the NASCAR Xfinity Series starting in the 2020 season. The Mustang is now the spearhead of Ford in motorsport since the Xfinity version is the fifth edition of this year's Pony car, in addition to Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series versions, Funny Car in NHRA (dragster), Australia Supercars and Cobra Jet.
"We've always talked about the Mustang as a race car, and it's rewarding to see it perform well in a number of shows around the world," said Mark Rushbrook, Ford Racing Motorsports Global Director.

The Mustang will compete in this series including the Toyota Supra, which was launched this year to replace the Camry.
