The Ford Puma and Ford Fiesta EcoBoost hybrid with a new automatic transmission

Ford Puma EcoBoost hybrid

The Ford Puma and Ford Fiesta EcoBoost hybrid got a new 7-speed automatic transmission. In addition to reduced fuel consumption, the driver gets extra driving pleasure with the electric torque provided by the hybrid technology. The new 7-speed automatic transmission makes it even easier to drive in city traffic. The fast and seamless gear changes are 4% faster than for Puma with an automatic transmission but without hybrid technology.

Ford knows that many people want a hybrid driveline and automatic transmission, and it is very happy to be able to offer this. The automatic transmission makes the car even more comfortable to drive, while you benefit from the many benefits of hybrid technology.

5% lower fuel consumption and better torque

Fuel consumption for the Ford Fiesta and Ford Puma Ecoboost hybrid is 5% lower than with the comparable 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol variants of these Ford models.

Ford's all-new EcoBoost hybrid powertrain delivers a lot of power and great response. The hybrid system works by integrating an electric motor with the award-winning 3-cylinder 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol engine.

Remote car start from the mobile app

With the new 7-speed automatic transmission, the car takes full advantage of Stop & Start technology by using adaptive cruise control. With the FordPass app, you can also start up the car from your mobile.

With its innovative solutions, the Ford Puma has one of the largest and smartest luggage compartments in its class. You have up to 456 litres at your disposal.

You don't have to worry about the speed because the Ford Puma 1.0-liter EcoBoost hybrid with 155 hp and the new 7-speed automatic transmission accelerates from 0 - 100 km / h in 8.7 seconds.

The Ford Puma EcoBoost hybrid and the Ford Fiesta EcoBoost hybrid are two of a total of 17 electrified model variants that Ford will introduce in Europe during 2021.
