Citroen e-C4 X is a new electric car that has achieved an impressive feat: it can travel 1,000 km on a single charge, according to a recent test conducted by the Italian magazine Quattroruote. This is equivalent to driving from New York to Chicago or from Paris to Berlin without stopping to recharge.
The test was performed on a closed track in Italy, with a constant speed of 60 km/h and a temperature of 25°C. The car had a 75 kWh battery and a 150 kW electric motor. The test lasted for 16 hours and 40 minutes until the battery was completely drained. The car consumed an average of 7.5 kWh/100 km, which is lower than the official WLTP rating of 16.6 kWh/100 km.
The Citroen e-C4 X electric car is a compact crossover that combines the style of a coupe, the hatchback space, and an SUV's height. It has a modern and futuristic design, with a large front grille, LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, and aerodynamic lines. The interior is spacious and comfortable, with a digital dashboard, a 10-inch touchscreen, a wireless charging pad, and a head-up display. The car also offers advanced safety and driver assistance features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and emergency braking.
The Citroen e-C4 X is part of the e-C4 family, which also includes a hybrid and a gasoline version. The e-C4 X is the most powerful and most expensive of the three, with a starting price of $49,500. The car is expected to be available in Europe by the end of 2024.
