New Renault 4 Savane Concept Blends Classic Looks, EV Power

Renault has introduced the Renault 4 Savane 4x4 Concept, an electric vehicle designed for off-road capabilities. This concept car, revealed at the Roland-Garros 2025 tennis tournament, combines retro design with modern electric technology.

Design and Exterior Features

  • Color and Finish: Jade Green body with gloss black bumpers and wheel arches.
  • Roof Design: Pixelated fabric pattern adds visual character.
  • Wheels and Tires: 18-inch "Savane" wheels with Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ 225/55 tires.
  • Ground Clearance: Increased by 15 mm.
  • Track Width: Widened by 10 mm front and rear on each side for better off-road handling.

Interior Features

  • Seating: Deep Brown refined textile seats with quilted and houndstooth patterns.
  • Dashboard: Illuminated "4Savane" logo for a modern-retro touch.

Performance and Technical Specifications

  • Drivetrain: Dual-motor electric system enables all-wheel drive.
  • Platform: Built on the AmpR Small platform (shared with Renault 5 E-Tech and Nissan Micra EV).
  • Battery: Expected to feature a 52-kWh pack.
  • Estimated Range: Up to 249 miles (400 km) based on WLTP cycle.
