The new Renault CAPTUR with the advanced E-TECH technology

The new Renault CAPTUR Plug-in hybrid is to be launched with the advanced E-TECH technology. In a short time, the Clio E-TECH hybrid and Megane E-TECH plug-in hybrid will also be launched. CAPTUR Plug-in hybrid is a spacious SUV full of technology, equipment and comfort with seamless gear changes that provide a dynamic and comfortable ride. 

The new Renault CAPTUR Plug-in hybrid has a 9.8 kWh battery (400v) and with the new E-TECH engine producing 160 hp. CAPTUR comes with fuel consumption of only 0.15 l / mile, but also drive 100% electrically for up to 65 km (WLTP city driving / 50 km mixed driving). In pure electric mode, the top speed is 135 km / h.

The new CAPTUR Plug-in hybrid SUV benefits from advanced E-TECH technology with a focus on energy recovery and is directly inspired by Renault's F1 expertise.

The new Renault CAPTUR is launched both with a petrol engine (TCe 155 hp EDC) and as a plug-in hybrid (E-TECH Plug-in hybrid 160 hp). E-TECH Plug-in technology has been developed by Renault engineers and is directly inspired by Renault's F1 expertise.
Components designed by the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi alliance are used in the new generation of the 1.6-litre petrol engine (4 cylinders) with the two electric motors and the innovative multi-mode gearbox.
The clutchless gearbox is very efficient with barely noticeable gears. Regardless of the battery charge status, the plug-in version has the advantages of the hybrid system.

The new Captur SUV has the largest luggage compartment in the class with up to 536 liters / 379 liters (petrol / PHEV version). Rear seat row can be pushed all the way forward / backwards as needed. In addition, the knee space in the rear seats has been improved by 20 mm.
