At the annual awards, readers of the German magazine Auto Bild Allrad voted Skoda Octavia and Superb as the best cars in their categories. In the all-wheel-drive cars category and the price of less than 40,000 euros, the victory was won by Skoda Octavia 4x4. And in the all-wheel-drive cars category at over 40,000 euros, the flagship of the Škoda brand, Superb 4x4, was chosen as the best imported car.
Auto Bild Allrad readers have chosen for the fourth time Skoda Octavia as the favourite model in the category and Skoda Superb for the 11th time! Auto Bild Allrad is the best magazine with all-wheel drive vehicles in Europe.

The magazine organized this year the 19th edition of the votes for the 4x4 Models of the Year. A total of 218 car models entered the competition. Readers were able to cast their votes online between January 10 and March 6.
The success story of Škoda's modern 4x4 cars began in 1999 with the launch of the first Škoda Octavia Combi 4 × 4.
In 2019, approximately 1 in 9 Skoda Octavia cars delivered in Europe was equipped with a 4x4 system. Now in its fourth generation, the model is again available in various all-wheel-drive configurations. At the same time, the model has now become more spacious, more connected and more exciting than ever.
In 2019, approximately 26% new car registered on the European market was equipped with all-wheel drive. Since being completely renewed in 2019, Škoda Superb has been equipped with new features, such as full-LED Matrix headlights and an even wider range of innovative assistance systems, thus benefiting from even more modern technologies and becoming even more attractive. Last year, Skoda Superb iV, the brand's first plug-in hybrid, was launched.
