One of the most interesting versions in the Skoda Scala range is the 1.0 G-TEC variant, which is powered by a bi-fuel system of gasoline and compressed natural gas (CNG).
With 4.36 m in length, Skoda Scala competes in the C segment of compact cars, with the likes of Renault Megane, Peugeot 308, VW Golf, Opel Astra, Hyundai i30 and Ford Focus, among others. However, from a structural and technical point of view, the Scala has been developed on the MQB A0 platform for small and utility vehicles of the VW Group.
The Skoda Scala 1.0 G-TEC prices start from $20,500 (18,950 euros).

The Skoda Scala 1.0 G-TEC has three gas tanks with a total capacity of 13.8 kg. With this amount and according to the official consumption of gas approved in the WLTP cycle by Skoda (3.6 kg / 100 km), they give a CNG range of 383 km. Additionally, a 9-litre gasoline fuel tank is also included.
Skoda Scala range offers also: 1.0 TSI gasoline 95 and 116 hp and 1.5 TSI 150 hp and diesel 1.6 TDI 116 hp.

The technical installation and the unusual locations of the gas tanks slightly reduce the volume of cargo available in the trunk of the Skoda Scala 1.0 G-TEC, which drops to 339 litres, while in a Scala that only uses gasoline or diesel the boot capacity stands at 467 litres.
