This week is the start of production for the fully electric Skoda Enyaq iV, at the factory in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. Enyaq iV is ŠKODA's first series-produced electric car based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB electric car platform. Skoda will produce up to 350 copies of its new Enyaq iV SUV per day.
Also, in the Mladá Boleslav plant, Skoda manufactures the Octavia and Karoq models. Skoda has adapted the building and developed new transport technology that can handle all-electric cars and their components. In addition, the factory has introduced new safety measures regarding the handling of the batteries, placing thermal imaging cameras which monitor the factory 24/7.
Three sizes of the battery for ENYAQ iV together with the five different power versions ensure both durability and high-level driving pleasure. Depending on the battery capacity you choose, the car has a range of up to 536 km (WLTP).
The fully electric Enyaq iV SUV is also the first Skoda model to have an augmented reality head-up display, which displays information, such as speed limits and traffic signs - in the driver's direct field of vision.
