Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid Graphite Tech Edition: A Stylish and Eco-Friendly SUV

Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid Graphite Tech Edition

Ford has recently launched a new version of its popular Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid, the Graphite Tech Edition, which combines a sleek design with advanced technology and low emissions. The new model is available in European markets, and it offers a range of features that make it an attractive choice for drivers who want a spacious, comfortable, and efficient SUV.

The Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid Graphite Tech Edition is powered by a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle petrol engine and an electric motor that delivers a combined output of 225 hp. The battery can be charged from an external source or by the engine, and it provides up to 56 kilometers of pure electric driving range. The hybrid system can switch seamlessly between electric and petrol modes or use both for optimal performance and efficiency. The fuel consumption is as low as 1.4 liters per 100 kilometers, and the CO2 emissions are only 32 grams per kilometer.

The exterior of the Ford Kuga Graphite Tech Edition is distinguished by its exclusive Graphite Grey color, which contrasts with the black roof rails, door mirrors, grille, and lower bumper inserts. The model also features 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, rear privacy glass, and a hands-free tailgate. The interior is equally stylish, with heated black leather seats in the front and rear, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a panoramic roof, and ambient lighting.

The Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid Graphite Tech Edition is also equipped with a host of smart technologies that enhance safety, convenience, and connectivity. The model comes with the FordPass Connect modem, which enables remote access to various vehicle functions via a smartphone app, such as locking and unlocking doors, checking the fuel level and tire pressure, locating the vehicle, and scheduling charging times. The modem also provides a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 10 devices and access to live traffic updates and local hazard information.

The model also features the SYNC 3 infotainment system, which includes an 8-inch touchscreen, navigation, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a premium B&O sound system. The driver can also benefit from the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, which displays relevant information such as speed, battery level, driving mode, and navigation directions. The cluster can be customized according to the driver’s preferences and mood.

The Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid Graphite Tech Edition also offers a high level of safety and driver assistance features, such as Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane-Keeping System, Blind Spot Information System, Cross Traffic Alert, Active Park Assist 2, Evasive Steering Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Driver Alert, Rear View Camera, and Front and Rear Parking Sensors.

The Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid Graphite Tech Edition is a great option for drivers who want a stylish and eco-friendly SUV that does not compromise on performance, comfort, or technology. The model is available for $59.000, which includes a wallbox for home charging. The model is also eligible for tax benefits due to its low emissions.

The Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid Graphite Tech Edition is part of Ford’s commitment to offering more electrified vehicles in Europe. By 2026, Ford plans to have all its passenger vehicles in Europe be zero-emissions capable or all-electric. By 2030, Ford expects to have all its passenger vehicles in Europe to be fully electric. The Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid Graphite Tech Edition is a step towards this goal and proof that Ford can deliver vehicles that are both fun to drive and good for the environment.
