The new Opel Astra starts at 36,900 euros

"The Opel Astra is one of Opel's most popular vehicles, and it is pleased to deliver the sixth generation of the car on the roads of Turkey. With its high level of driving pleasure, plentiful equipment, and efficient engine options, the new Opel Astra is sure to be one of Turkey's most famous automobile models. It's my opinion that the new generation Astra will provide a significant boost to Opel Turkey's sales figures. We hope to further cement Turkey's position as Opel's third-largest market in Europe with the launch of the sixth-generation Astra.

The new Astra's styling conforms to Opel's established design language, which will be used throughout the decade the 2020s. The new model's broader appearance is due in part to the Opel Visor, the new design face and basic exterior design element employed by the brand for the first time in the production of Opel Mokka. IntelliVision technologies like the Surround View Camera and the ultra-thin IntelliLux LED Pixel headlamps are perfectly incorporated into the Viewfinder. When viewed from the side, the latest version of Astra has a sleek and powerful appearance. The Opel Compass's lightning logo, which is positioned dead center when viewed from the back, is highlighted by the vertical alignment of the third brake light and the taillights. Like the other vehicle's lighting, the taillights are made with energy-efficient LEDs. The trunk's lightning bolt logo is a latch to open the trunk.

German precision also extends to the inside, with the latest generation Pure Panel cockpit making its debut in the Opel Mokka. The two 10-inch HD screens horizontally integrated with the driver's side ventilation stand out in this roomy digital cockpit that is standard from the base equipment and can be desired in the form of all glass, depending on the option levels. We will use the Pure Panel when it comes to digitization and user-friendliness. Tastefully crafted touch controls operate its core functions. The next generation of infotainment systems can be performed by touching a screen and speaking commands.

Two different powertrain configurations—one with a high-efficiency gasoline engine and another with a diesel engine—are available for purchase on the all-new Opel Astra. The 6-speed manual or 8-speed AT8 transmission puts the power from the 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine and its 130 HP and 230 Nm of torque to the pavement. The new Astra's 5.4-5.7 L/100 km fuel economy with the 6-speed manual transmission is comparable to the WLTP average of 5.6-5.8 L/100 km for the AT8 variant. It takes the new Astra 9.7 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h, with either the automatic or manual transmission.

The next generation Opel Astra is powered by a highly efficient 1.5-liter diesel engine that generates 130 hp and 300 Nm of torque and is mated to an 8-speed AT8 fully automated transmission. After reaching 100 km/h in 10.6 seconds from a standstill, the new Opel Astra with a diesel engine can reach a top speed of 209 km/h. Diesel engines' actual competence is revealed in their low fuel usage. The new Opel Astra offers a combined fuel economy of 4.5-4.6 liters per 100 kilometers from its 1.5-liter diesel engine, following WLTP standards.
