The first photographs of the new Mercedes-Benz small model series A-Class and B-Class have been released. A more aggressive look, the most recent version of the MBUX infotainment system, and a broad program in which all petrol-powered cars are now mild hybrids with 48-volt electrical systems.
The A-Class and B-Class are Mercedes-Benz's small cars. They have also gotten sportier in recent years, with a younger target audience in mind.
With its cheery exterior, the A-Class is offered as a hatchback and sedan and has a more traditional sports car feel. The B-Class Sport Tourer is the car for individuals who want to drive enthusiastically while also having room for the accessories of active life in the car.
When it comes time for new editions of both classes, they stay on the same route. There are new grilles, fresh colors, and redesigned body lines on the outside. In addition, new 19-inch rims are now available for both the A-Class and B-Class.

The Mercedes-Benz cars, as before, have two digital screens that are perceived as one large widescreen screen. This is also the hub for the MBUX voice-controlled telematics/infotainment system. MBUX has been extensively improved, and many voice commands can now be given without using the activation phrase "Hello, Mercedes." The MBUX infotainment system now has a voice assistant that may assist with tasks such as accessing the first aid kit and pairing the phone.
All A-Class and B-Class petrol engine types are now mild hybrids with 48-volt electrical systems and 7- or 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions. The Mercedes-Benz vehicles are equipped with a combination starter motor/generator that recovers energy during braking and produces up to 10 kW (13 hp) of additional power when required. Mercedes-Benz cars can be started using only electric power and can even run at constant highway speeds using only electricity.
The Mercedes-Benz A 250 e and Mercedes-Benz B 250 e plug-in hybrids now have a 109 hp (80 kW) electric motor and a 163 hp (120 kW) gasoline engine for a total system output of 218 horsepower and torque of 450 Nm. The 15.6 kWh battery can be charged with up to 11 kW of AC power and up to 24 kW of DC power. The electric range is 67-77 kilometers.

As before, Mercedes-AMG versions of the A-Class are available. Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC sedan and hatchback both have 306 horsepower. The hatchback is also available as a Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ with 421 horsepower, a 0-100 time of 3.9 seconds, and a peak speed of 270 km/h.
