The New Peugeot 2008: A Stylish SUV That You Can Order Now

The Peugeot 2008 compact crossover has been redesigned for 2023, and it offers a range of features that make it stand out from the crowd. Here are some of the reasons why you should consider the new Peugeot 2008 as your next car.

A Bold and Modern Design

The new Peugeot 2008 has a striking appearance that reflects its dynamic personality. The front end features a large chrome grille with the Peugeot lion emblem, flanked by full LED headlights with a signature 3-claw design. The side profile showcases the muscular and sculpted body, with black wheel arches and roof bars that enhance its SUV character. The rear end has a gloss black strip that connects the LED taillights, as well as a spoiler and twin chrome exhaust pipes that add a sporty touch.

The new Peugeot 2008 also comes with a choice of 10 colors, including two new ones: Vertigo Blue and Elixir Red. You can also opt for the Black Diamond roof, which contrasts with the body color and creates a sleek look. The new Peugeot 2008 is available in four trim levels: Active, Allure, GT Line, and GT. Each one has its own distinctive features, such as alloy wheels, roof rails, leather upholstery, and more.

A Spacious and High-Tech Interior

The new Peugeot 2008 has a spacious and high-tech interior that offers comfort and convenience for both the driver and the passengers. The cabin has a premium feel, with soft-touch materials, chrome accents, and ambient lighting. The boot has a generous capacity of 434 liters, which can be expanded to 1,467 liters by folding the rear seats.

The new Peugeot 2008 also features the Peugeot i-Cockpit, which consists of a compact steering wheel, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 7-inch or 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Peugeot i-Cockpit provides a clear and intuitive display of information and controls and access to various functions such as navigation, media, phone, climate, and driving modes. The new Peugeot 2008 also supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless charging for compatible devices.

The new Peugeot 2008 also offers a range of advanced driver assistance systems that enhance safety and convenience on the road. Some of these include adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function, lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, park assist, rearview camera, hill start assist, emergency brake assist, traffic sign recognition, and more.

The petrol engines are based on the award-winning PureTech technology, which delivers low emissions and high fuel economy. The diesel engine is based on the BlueHDi technology, which reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 90%.

The petrol engines are:

  • A 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 99 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque.
  • A 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 128 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque.
  • A 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 153 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque.

The diesel engine is:

  • A 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 99 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque.

The new Peugeot 2008 also offers an electric version called the Peugeot e-2008, which has a 50 kWh battery pack and an electric motor that delivers 134 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque. The e-2008 can travel up to 206 miles on a single charge, according to the WLTP cycle. It can also be recharged in less than 30 minutes using a 100 kW rapid charger.

The new Peugeot 2008 also features three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. These modes adjust the engine response, steering feel, and instrument display according to the driver’s preference. The e-2008 also has two additional modes: Comfort and Individual. These modes allow the driver to customize the suspension settings, ambient lighting, sound system, and climate control.
