In addition to the Peugeot 5008 models that the French police and Gendarmerie have been equipped with since last year, the French Ministry of the Interior has now unleashed on roads the first 395 units of Peugeot 3008 HYBRID 225 cars with 165 kW (225 hp) received for the Gendarmerie Nationale.
The integration of the Peugeot 3008 Plug-In Hybrids into the vehicle fleet is a sign that they meet the requirements of a demanding organization in terms of reliability and performance and an excellent residual value.
The order from the Ministry of the Interior (France) is in line with the concept of electrifying the fleet and equipping it with French-made vehicles with a high level of performance. With a combined power of 165 kW (225 hp), a torque of 360 Nm, and the possibility of approaching discreetly in fully electric mode during patrols, the Peugeot 3008 plug-in hybrids for the French Gendarmerie represent an essential product in any emergency.

The hybrid vehicles are manufactured for the Ministry of the Interior (France) at the Stellantis plant in Sochaux and finished with screen-printed stickers by EGP. Further deliveries are already planned for the first quarter of 2022 for the Gendarmerie and the France police.
