The new SEAT Tarraco demonstrates, through premium finishes and cutting-edge technologies, that the Spaniards have ambitious plans for the future.
Insiders in the automotive industry are talking about SEAT brand repositioning over the top of the market today. Production quality will increase significantly, as do materials. In addition, we will see more and more powerful engines in the Spanish range. Seeing the new Spanish Cupra brand, but also the obvious increase in the quality of the SEAT models, we can only observe that hard work is done. Tarraco is the first model to prove this.
The third SUV in the range, after Arona and Ateca, Tarraco introduces a new brand identity for SEAT, which we will see extended to other models over the years to come. The Spaniards gave Tarraco a dynamic silhouette, which makes it look more sporty than would suggest the exterior dimensions of 4.74 meters in length and 1.66 meters in height.

If we were to call a single quality of the Spanish SUV, it would be versatility. Configurable with five or seven seats, Tarraco benefits from a modular interior with individually foldable sliding seats, sliding longitudinally and with adjustable sloping backrests. The interior space is vast, the passengers on the first two rows of seats travel to the business class. The third row of seats has enough knee space even for the tall people.
Tarraco's qualities do not stop at transport capacity. Passenger comfort is at the heart of attention, as is the sensory experience: SEAT has enormously increased the quality of interior materials. Technologically there is nothing missing on board: the basic equipment is luxuriously equipped. We are talking about three-zone air conditioning, digital cockpit, MirrorLink connectivity navigation system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, all available at Style level.
However, Tarraco's best quality is under the hood, which in our test means a 2.0 liter / 190 hp turbocharger coupled to the well-known seven-speed DSG. The torque is transmitted to all four wheels through the four-wheel drive system, the entire operation being carefully tuned by the electronic supervisors.

The SEAT Drive Profile is offered as standard on the Xcellence (the only one with the 190 hp diesel engine). The system allows changing the characteristics of the engine, steering and gearbox DSG via a rotary selector.
We can say without exaggerating that Tarraco is the best SEAT ever produced. The 190 hp diesel engine pulls like a bull, the comfort of the passengers is excellent, and the modularity of the interior is unbeatable. In addition, SEAT boasts a lush endowment.
