To prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation produces visors to be donated to hospitals and medical institutions. Production of about 1500 visors per month has started at the Okazaki plant in Aichi and at other factories. MMC has started donating the face shields to the city of Okazaki. visors were also donated to a Minokamo hospital.
MMC plans to donate visors in Okayama, where the Mizushima plant is located. MMC plans to both increase visors production and to manufacture other products such as face masks to prevent the spread of infection.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections, the MMC group will continue to use the plant facilities and its expertise in vehicle development and production, while working with national and local authorities, and other organizations around the world.
