Dacia won Bild am Sonntag and Auto Bild's annual "Golden Wheel" award for the first time ever. While we wait to see if Dacia wins the Auto Best Award for the second year in a row – last year with Dacia Spring and this year with Dacia Jogger in the finals, you can flounder in a prestigious recognition that has just gone to the Dacia Jogger. The "Bild am Sonntag" and "Auto Bild" German newspapers are giving out one of the most important awards in the world.
The Dacia Jogger took first place in the sub-30,000-euro automobile category (one of eleven such categories). "We are thrilled to have the Dacia Jogger recognized with the Golden Wheel." "This versatile vehicle is symbolic of the Dacia brand in many respects, from the cutting-edge features it boasts to the rugged off-road aesthetic it exudes and, last but not least, the generous amount of room it provides," says the German spokesperson for Dacia.

The Dacia Jogger is a genuine seven-seater automobile that borrows features from conventional station wagons while giving off the impression of an SUV despite its low 20-mm ground clearance.

The vehicle's underpinnings are shared with the Renault Captur and other cars in the B and C segments. While currently sold with a 110 hp gasoline engine, a hybrid version with 140 hp will be available in the spring (a unit previously present in the Renault Arkana SUV Coupé).
