Ford has presented the Mustang Mach-E to the European public for the first time in London. Ford wants to inform consumers about the path to an electrified future. In addition, 1,000 charging stations will be installed at European company locations over the next three years.
The 4.71 meters long, 1.88 meters wide and 1.60-meter electric car comes with two battery options, with rear or all-wheel drive, as well as in different power levels on the European market. In Germany, the Mustang Mach-E starts at 46,900 euros. The optional "Extended Range" battery with 99 kWh and 376 cells enables a range of up to 600 kilometres according to the WLTP cycle.
Mustang Mach-E buyers who make reservations this year will get a free one-year subscription to FordPass app services. The already known charging service Ford Charging Solutions is not only available to buyers of a Mach-E but can be used by all buyers of a purely electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid from Ford. However, prices for the charging service have not yet been mentioned. Ford will set up 1,000 charging stations at European company locations over the next three years.

Ford is investing over $ 11 billion in electrifying its own series worldwide, in special for mild, full and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The current strategy includes the 48-volt hybrids Ford Fiesta, Puma, Focus, Kuga, Transit, Transit Custom and the Tourneo Custom. Ford foresees electrified cars to account for more than half of the company's passenger car sales by the end of 2022.
