At Ford, the word "Active" stands for a particularly robust and practical equipment line. Now the manufacturer is also offering the "Active" version for the EcoSport crossover SUV. The new equipment can only be combined with the 1-liter Ecoboost petrol engine in its 125 hp version and with a manual six-speed gearbox.
The new Ford Ecosport Active is the result of a new sales strategy with which Ford is refining its range. Instead of offering them individually, Ford is now combining the most popular equipment options in different packages. In addition, the manufacturer restricts itself to three basic lines ST-Line (with a sporty touch), Titanium (comfort-oriented) and Active (robust and practical) for most models. Only selected series such as Ford Fiesta or Ford Focus will in future receive the top X and Vignale equipment.
The base price for the new Ford Ecosport Active is 21,000 euros.
