The Kia Stonic crossover, recently underwent a facelift operation, visible on the outside through redesigned LED headlights, 16-inch wheels and three new body colours: Storm Gray, Azure Blue and Zest Yellow. It receives for the first time mild-hybrid engine in versions of 100 hp and 120 hp, but also an 8-inch screen inside and new assistance systems.
The mild-hybrid propulsion system consists of the 1.0-litre T-DGi engine and the 48-volt EcoDynamics system. The Stonic facelift will also be available with a 1-liter, T-GDi engine with 100hp, but with a 6-speed manual transmission instead of a 5-speed. Also on offer is the 1.2-liter aspirated engine with 84 horsepower.
Last but not least, Kia also announces an improved package of assistance systems: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) systems with pedestrian, vehicle and bicycle recognition, Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Driver Attention Warning (DAW), Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW), Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA), Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), Smart Cruise Control (SCC) or Lane Following Assist (LFA).
The new Kia Stonic facelift will be available on the European market in the last quarter of the year.
