The Seat Leon has always been a cornerstone of the brand's model range. Now Seat makes one step further in its electric car offensive as the world transformations to a more electrified and sustainable future. The latest generation of the Leon is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system, which makes the Seat Leon e-Hybrid the brand's first plug-in hybrid model and an important part of the company's electric car offensive.
The plug-in hybrid system in the Seat Leon e-HYBRID consists of a 1.4-litre TSI engine, assisted by an electric motor powered by a 13 kWh battery. The hybrid propulsion system has a total of 204 hp and 350 Nm, sent to the front axle by a DSG seven-speed automatic. Seat announced a maximum electric range of 63 kilometres. The sprint 0-100 km / h takes place in 7.5 seconds, and the maximum speed is 220 km / h.
The Seat Leon e-Hybrid can travel up to 64 km in all-electric mode, while when the gasoline engine is used, its autonomy can reach up to 800km. The advanced plug-in hybrid technology reduces CO2 emissions for SEAT Leon to 28 g CO2 / km, while the car uses just 1.1 to 1.3 litres of fuel to travel 100 km according to WLTP.
