As is usual, before the presentation of a novelty, Skoda announces Fabia specifications and shows us photos of the final car still camouflaged. An expressive design, a more spacious vehicle interior, more comfort and even greater safety thanks to modern safety and assistance systems: This is the fourth generation of the new Skoda Fabia.
The fourth generation of the Fabia will be revealed this spring. But Skoda is already revealing a lot of technical information. Based on the MQB-A0 platform, the new Skoda Fabia will be bigger: 4.107 m length (it gains 11 centimetres!), 1.78 m width, 1.46 m height and a wheelbase of 2.56 meters. The trunk has 380 litres, with 50l more than before. Also, if the rear seats are folded the cargo capacity grows to 1,190 litres.
The engine range of the 2021 Skoda Fabia is composed of MPI and TSI gasoline engines of three and four cylinders, with up to 150 HP of power. Depending on the engine chosen, the gearbox can be a five or six-speed manual, or a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

This change of generation will be the occasion to make a big update of the equipment. The car can have full LED headlights and lights and digital instrumentation. As standard or as an option depending on the model, we will have the recognition of traffic signs, Travel Assist, an autonomous driving assistant, Simply Clever solutions.

As we said before, the 2021 Skoda Fabia will be presented throughout this year. We expect sales to start this year as well.

Btw, Skoda Australia will say goodby to the current third-generation Fabia with a new Skoda Fabia Run-Out Edition. Like all new Skoda vehicles, the Fabia Run-Out Edition comes with a five-year warranty. The 2021 Skoda Fabia Run-Out Edition is priced from 17,980 euros.
