Say goodbye to the Toyota Yaris iA. Toyota is trying to eliminate any trace of the extinct brand, Scion, and has decided to name the new sedan based on the Mazda2, the Yaris 2019. In addition to this change in the nomenclature, it receives some small changes such as a redesigned grille and a new variant.
The 2019 Toyota Yaris standard features: front seats upholstered in synthetic leather, automatic headlights LED, wipers with rain sensor, automatic air conditioning and a steering wheel, gear lever and hand brake are leather-trimmed. Both the version WILL as XLE receive a new rear spoiler and 16-inch wheels.

Standard features in the Yaris L (the base version) includes a push-button start, touch-screen, seven-inch with rear view camera, cruise control, electric mirrors, folding rear seats, as well as a safety system with automatic braking at low speeds.
The Yaris is powered by a engine 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 106 horsepower and 103 foot-pounds of torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic. Toyota estimates that the fuel savings will continue in 30/39/34 mpg in city/highway/terrain, combined for the manual version and 32/40/35 mpg for the automatic.

Speaking of versions, there are just two on offer in 2019: the base model starting at $16,595 and the XLE variant gets a starting price of $19,205.
The new 2019 Toyota Yaris will arrive in dealerships in the fall.
