Dacia Jogger Hybrid 155 Review 2026: Budget 7-Seater With More Power And Tech

2026 Dacia Jogger Hybrid

Brand

  • Dacia

The 2026 Dacia Jogger keeps doing what few family cars still manage: it carries seven people, swallows a shocking amount of luggage, and avoids the price creep that has wrecked the value end of the market. For 2026, Dacia did not rewrite the formula. It sharpened it.

The big news sits under the bonnet. The new Hybrid 155 turns the Dacia Jogger hybrid from a clever budget option into the powertrain that finally makes the whole package feel fully sorted. In addition, Dacia adds a new LPG automatic option, fresh exterior lighting, upgraded screens, and more driver-assistance kit. Looking at the data, that is a smart move. Jogger buyers care about running costs, cabin flexibility, and low-stress daily use far more than badge drama.

What changed on the 2026 Dacia Jogger

Dacia focused on the areas that shape ownership every day.

  • New Hybrid 155 full-hybrid powertrain
  • New Eco-G 120 auto LPG/petrol powertrain with a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox
  • Revised front and rear lighting with a fresh Dacia signature
  • New cabin tech with a 10-inch central screen on upper trims
  • More safety kit, including upgraded emergency braking functions

From an expert perspective, that list tells you Dacia understands its buyer. It did not chase fake sportiness. It improved efficiency, cabin tech, and ease of use.

2026 Dacia Jogger by the numbers

Key measurement2026 Dacia Jogger
Overall length4,550 mm
Wheelbase2,898 mm
Width with mirrors folded1,853 mm
Width with mirrors extended2,012 mm
Height1,673 mm
Ground clearance195 mm
Seats7
Minimum boot volume212 litres
Maximum boot volume2,085 litres

That packaging still does the heavy lifting. A 4.55-metre body and a 2.898-metre wheelbase give the Jogger the footprint of an estate car with the cabin logic of an MPV. Specifically, that long wheelbase creates the room needed for a usable third row instead of the token seats many crossover rivals bolt in as an afterthought.

Why the packaging still beats many SUVs

The 7-seat family car pitch works because the Jogger stays honest about space.

  • Seven seats come as standard
  • The third row folds 50/50
  • Five-seat mode offers far more luggage freedom
  • Two-seat mode opens up van-like carrying ability

If you buy cars with a tape measure instead of a mood board, the Jogger still lands hard.

Powertrains: the 2026 range finally makes sense

The old Jogger already had a strong space-and-price story. The 2026 engine range gives it a much cleaner one.

PowertrainCore hardwareOutputTransmissionKey gain
TCe 1101.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol110 hp, 200 Nm6-speed manualLowest entry cost
Eco-G 120 auto1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo LPG/petrol120 hp6-speed dual-clutch autoCheaper fuel plus easier daily driving
Hybrid 1551.8-litre 4-cylinder petrol + 2 electric motors + 1.4 kWh battery155 hp, 170 NmClutchless multi-mode autoStronger response and lower fuel use

The standard TCe 110 remains the cheap way in, and it still looks perfectly usable on paper with a 111 mph top speed and a 0-62 mph time of 11.2 seconds. By comparison, the new Hybrid 155 changes the tone of the car. Dacia pairs a 109 hp petrol engine with two electric motors, a 1.4 kWh battery, and an automatic gearbox that runs without a clutch. Dacia also says the system cuts fuel use and emissions by 10 percent against the old Hybrid 140, while allowing up to 80 percent electric running in city driving.

The new Eco-G 120 auto may end up as the sleeper hit. LPG keeps fuel bills in check, and the automatic gearbox removes one of the old powertrain's weak points for family use. Dacia also enlarged the Jogger's LPG tank to 48.8 litres and says total petrol-plus-LPG range reaches 1,450 km.

Definition: clutchless multi-mode gearbox

A clutchless multi-mode gearbox uses fixed gear ratios and electric assistance to swap between petrol and electric drive without a conventional clutch pedal or torque converter. In plain English, it cuts mechanical drag, helps efficiency, and lets the hybrid system feel more direct when it leaves a junction or rolls through town traffic.

Price and value: still the Jogger's sharpest weapon

Using the latest ECB reference rates, the UK-listed Jogger prices translate roughly like this in US dollars:

Version or powertrainUK list priceApprox. USD
Jogger Essential TCe 110 MY26£18,995$25,400
Jogger Expression Hybrid 155 MY26£23,330$31,200
Jogger Extreme Hybrid 155 MY26£24,630$32,900

Those numbers tell the whole story. A 2026 Dacia Jogger with seven seats and proper luggage flexibility still undercuts many five-seat compact SUVs. The hybrid version asks for more money, but it brings the powertrain that best fits the car's size and family brief.

Cabin tech and safety: finally less basic, still easy to live with

The cabin upgrades matter because the old Jogger could feel one step behind on tech. Dacia fixes that with a 10-inch touchscreen, connected navigation, a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless charging, and fresh interface graphics on better-equipped models.

Safety equipment also moves forward. The 2026 Dacia Jogger now offers automatic emergency braking that can detect vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and motorbikes, plus lane-keeping support, traffic-sign recognition, automatic high/low beam functions, and driver attention monitoring on current UK-market material. That does not turn the Jogger into a luxury car. It does make it far easier to defend against newer rivals in search and in the showroom.

Pro-Tip: which 2026 Dacia Jogger should you buy?

If you want the cheapest route into a new Dacia Jogger 7-seater, buy the TCe 110. If you rack up urban miles, carry kids, and keep cars for years, buy the Hybrid 155. If fuel spend rules your household spreadsheet and LPG remains easy to find in your area, wait for full pricing on the Eco-G 120 auto.

What now?

The 2026 Dacia Jogger still wins on size, flexibility, and simple family logic. Now it also has a stronger hybrid, a more useful LPG automatic, and cabin tech that no longer feels behind the curve.
