For the eleventh time, readers of 'Auto Motor Sport' were asked to submit their favorite family cars. Over 10,900 people responded to the call. There were 123 model series, including family-friendly station wagons, vans, and SUVs. A trunk volume of at least 400 liters and a maximum base price of 45,000 euros were required to participate. The cars were grouped into three price groups, with honors given for "Design," "Technology," and "Price/Performance." Furthermore, readers could always select an imported car winner and an overall winner.

The Skoda OCTAVIA COMBI competed in the price range of up to 25,000 euros. In the category 'Technology,' the Skoda bestselling model received every fifth vote (22.2 percent) in the voting for the import champion, propelling it to victory. The Skoda OCTAVIA COMBI, with a trunk volume of up to 1,700 liters, is also suited as a last-minute relocation aid. Even with a whole load of up to five persons, the boot still has a capacity of 640 liters.
