The new 2021 Toyota Venza uses the same platform as the RAV4, the same 2.5-liter hybrid engine, the same CVT transmission and is manufactured in the same plant in Japan. In Japan, the Venza is called the Toyota Harrier. It takes all the advantage of Toyota's New Global Architecture (TNGA). Modern and solid, this chassis offers excellent rigidity.
Venza offers Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 - a suite of technologies designed to enhance protection and boost driver vigilance. Toyota has also caught up with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration that comes standard. Added to this is Toyota's Star Safety System, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Rear View Camera. You also get adaptive cruise control.
Venza offers a heads-up display that is 10 inches wide and offers a lot of information without interfering. The navigation system is not too complicated to use. With Venza's on-demand electrochromic panoramic sunroof, you can switch from clear glass to opaque white. It effectively blocks out much of the sun but maintains a bright cabin space.
Venza has a cargo volume of 1,027 litres. The 60/40 split-back rear bench seats can be folded down to free up even more room if needed.
Venza fully takes over the hybrid system of the RAV4: a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Atkinson engine and three electric engines. The gasoline engine provides 150 horsepower. The three electric motors raise power to 219 horsepower. For those who plan to use it for towing, it can pull up to 1,750 pounds.
Toyota Venza prices start at 32,838 euros for LE version. Toyota Venza XLE version is from 37,957 euros and Toyota Venza Limited model from 40,687 euros.
The new 2021 Toyota Venza is the fourth generation of the Japanese mid-size crossover SUV.
