The Renault 5 prototype was selected by a jury of design executives from the world's top automobile manufacturers as the Concept Car of the Year.
With the new Renault 5, Renault's design team has created a car that has a clear design and functional similarities to the original and iconic Renault 5. Just like the original, the Renault 5 Prototype is a compact car full of charm, and a car that sends Renault's timeless favorites into the future with a 100% electric imprint.

When the R5 Prototype received the Concept Car of the Year Award, it meant a lot to the dedicated team of Renault designers, especially because the award is given by a jury of incredible car designers.
Renault is quite proud of itself. When the Renault 5 goes on sale in 2024, more than 90% of the external design will be identical to this prototype.
However, the Renault 5 Prototype is not the only vehicle that has recently been recognized. Renault's innovative concept automobile, the Morphoz, earned the so-called Creative Experience Award at the Festival International Automobile, which was hosted for the 36th edition.
The Renault Morphoz is a futuristic electric vehicle that depicts Renault's aspirations for private yet shared mobility in the year 2025. It is constructed on the CMF-EV platform, which is distinguished as an electric car platform that provides a wide range of customizable choices in terms of battery capacity, range, and, not least, adaptable design.
