Since its introduction in spring 2017, the Skoda KAROQ has played a significant part in the Czech automaker's success. When it was first introduced, the Skoda KAROQ used crystalline accents, dynamic curves, and sharp lines to complement the emotive design language of the KODIAQ. With a 'K' at the start and a 'Q' at the conclusion, the model designation likewise followed KODA's standard SUV nomenclature. The name is derived from the language of the Alutiiq, Alaska's indigenous people.
