Five years after its introduction, the Peugeot 3008, one of the brand's best-sellers, has produced its millionth unit at the Sochaux factory. The latest generation of the Peugeot 3008 has already passed the million mark. The vehicle, manufactured in Europe and China, convinced the experts even before its market launch, as it received 76 awards worldwide, including the prestigious "Car of the Year" in 2017.
Since its introduction in France, the Peugeot 3008 has been the market leader in its sector. In 2021, it will be ranked second in the SUV class in Europe. He has also retained a solid position in Southern Europe, where he is ranked first in Portugal and second in Italy and Spain.
Europe accounts for 65 percent of Peugeot 3008 sales. Outside of Europe, its main markets are Turkey, Israel, Japan, and Egypt. More than 80% of the Peugeot 3008's sales are in automatic transmission models, with around 38% in higher trim levels. This market share distribution exemplifies the Peugeot brand's superior status.
The Peugeot 3008 comes with the most recent generation of driver assistance technologies and a Peugeot i-Cockpit with a new high-quality display and a new 10-inch HD touchscreen (25.4 cm). In addition, according to the "Power of Choice," the vehicle is offered with rechargeable hybrid, two- or all-wheel drives, and combustion engines that combine driving pleasure and efficiency.
