Skoda published the first sketches with the next generation Octavia RS iV. The first performance plug-in hybrid developed by the Czech manufacturer will have 245 horsepower and will be exhibited for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
As expected, the new performance variant will be marketed under the name Skoda Octavia RS iV and rely on a plug-in hybrid powertrain capable of delivering a total of 245 horsepower.
In order to keep the interest of the fans awake, Skoda published the first sketches with the future performance model. The Skoda Octavia RS iV will also be available in the Combi version and will receive a slightly more aggressive aesthetic package.

According to Mlada Boleslav manufacturer officials, the new Skoda Octavia RS iV will debut on March 3 at the Geneva Motor Show.
Currently, the "civil" version Skoda Octavia is available in two PHEV versions, both with borrowed propulsion systems from the new generation Volkswagen Golf. In these cases, the Octavia is equipped with a 1.4-litre petrol engine and an electric motor, and the versions offer 204 hp and 245 hp respectively.
